
Liberatory Anger: Weekly Art Making for the Revolution
Throughout the last few months I have witnessed escalated policing of the expression of liberatory anger within multiple communities. There has been tone policing, oppressive and racist stereotypes, and listening only to those who use the dominant privileged ways of speaking (such as "nice", "calm", "fair", or perceived as "peaceful" or "logical and rational").

The Path of Illuminating Anger
Anger. A complex, nuanced, and often misunderstood emotion with many different facets. In this post I'd like to talk about one very important facet, illuminating anger.

Tides of Feeling
In completion of this last moon cycle, I have been thinking a lot about difficult feelings. Pain. Loss. Grief. Regret. Anger. Feelings that we so often want to avoid. Feelings that we have been trained to hide, suppress, or project onto others (more about this in another post.) Feelings that we have experienced as dangerous — that may have brought punishment, persecution, or harm towards us when we expressed them.
