Update – I have current availability for support throughout the states of CA, OR, and VT. All therapy sessions are by held remotely through a secure video platform or phone. Outdoor ecotherapy sessions available on a limited basis to regular weekly participants in CA only.

Where do you offer therapy services?

Due to the ongoing health risks around Covid and long Covid, all sessions are being offered remotely through HIPAA secure video platforms or phone for the foreseeable future. I offer limited outdoor ecotherapy sessions in the SF bay area as an addition to virtual sessions for regular weekly participants.

How much does therapy cost?

I charge $225 for individual sessions and $250 for couple sessions, all at 50 minutes length. I offer limited sliding scale spots to LGBTTSQIA survivors of sexual violence/abuse, chronically ill/disabled folx, and BIPOC. Extended outdoor ecotherapy sessions are available on a limited basis and charged at the prorated rate.

These rates take into consideration business costs, licensure costs, extensive schooling costs, ongoing training, and capacity needs as a business owner and clinician.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance for my services, however some insurance providers may offer reimbursement for out-of-network providers. I am happy to provide a monthly super bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please do confirm that your insurance provides reimbursement for out-of-network providers before we begin working together. I do not offer sliding scale spots if you are receiving reimbursement, instead reserving those spots for folx unable to access that.

How often do I need to come to therapy?

I ask individual participants to commit to weekly therapy sessions for 50 minutes, and offer every other week sessions for couples & relationship therapy. We may consider every other week given the circumstances of your unique journey. Group therapy runs weekly for the extent of the group. Occasional extended outdoor ecotherapy sessions are considered an adjunct to regular weekly sessions, and typically run for 75-90 minutes at the prorated rate.

What is your cancellation policy?

I hold a 24 hour cancellation policy, so that if you need to cancel you may do so within 24 hours before your session, with no charge. Additionally, I allow up to 4 cancellations in a year (not including times when I am away). Rescheduled sessions in the same week do not count as cancellations, and ecotherapy cancellations can be discussed to determine best practice for all. Otherwise you will be charged the full fee for your missed session. This also allows me to create a sustainable business practice and show up as my most resourced self to support you.

What session times do you have available?

I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Scheduling tends to change fast during this time, so the best way to figure that out is to set up a phone consultation. If we decide to work together, I’ll reserve a weekly spot for you then!

What is a “Good Faith Estimate”?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, to give you a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
